The On-boarding Specialist assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources department. Also carry out all the duties of On-Boarding new hires. Additionally the specialist carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: general information, HRIS, training and development.
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
Schedule or conduct new employee on-boarding.
Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.
Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.
Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains that they are current. Submits the online investigation requests and administers with new employee background checks.
Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
