Job Description
This position is responsible for building new features and systems, integrations with existing systems, along with the ongoing support of both internally developed and purchased systems and applications. Includes full life cycle application development from working with management and business users to gather requirements, designing and recommending technical solutions, building, testing and implementing the systems, and performing ongoing systems support and maintenance.

Job Responsibilities
Strong analytical / problem solving skills in a variety of areas (programming, mathematical, logical) to be able to create and optimize systems.
Ability to quickly analyze existing systems via code review and system testing to understand how they work to be able to design, build and test requested changes without needing to rewrite the entire application/system.
Advanced internet research skills to be able to find solutions to programming / technical issues and the ability to apply the findings to build solutions.

Job Requirements
Positive work attitude and the ability to be self-driven and work as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Visual Studio (2017)
C# (and very limited VB that has not been converted to C# yet)

Experienced developing the following types of applications:
.Net Core Docker Applications Running in Rancher / Linux
Windows services
Windows Forms Applications
Restful Web services / Web API’s
Mobile Barcode Scanning Applications
EDIFabric
NServiceBus
RabbitMQ
Docker
Rancher
Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
Microsoft SQL Server (2017)

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science / programming with relevant computer-related coursework.
3-6 years programming experience.
Similar work experience, technical skills or relevant certification will be considered in place of a bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience in manufacturing desirable.
Knowledge and general understanding of EDI transactions / packets.
