Full Stack Developer
Bisk is looking for a Full Stack Developer who understands and has experience with end to end application development and testing. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to code, test, debug, monitor, and document changes for an application. This candidate will possess a knowledge and understanding of user interface design and practices, coding patterns and practices, data persistence and retrieval, integration and unit testing, and end to end application design and architecture.

The role requires a technically strong person who is resourceful, confident under pressure and has demonstrated skill in application development.
Able to demonstrate proficiency with or quickly learn advanced .NET architecture, design, coding, and debugging
Ability to impact system architectures, investigate system-wide technical problems, and develop new features is key to the role.
Broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to develop a solution by mapping a customer’s business problems to an end-to-end technology solution.
Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Bisk information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements
Strong understanding and experience with the .NET Framework (4.5 and above).
Strong experience with the C# programming language and object-oriented programming.
Strong experience with HTML (HTML 5), CSS (CSS3), Bootstrap 4, and jQuery 3.
Strong understanding and experience with SOLID design principles
Strong understanding of RESTful services.
Professional experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, or other source control mechanisms
Strong trouble shooting and debugging skills. Ability to debug system-wide technical problems in unfamiliar areas. Ability to diagnose and correct performance problems.
Strong experience with SDLC
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Experience with Visual Studio (at least 2012), ASP.NET MVC (at least 3.0), Web API, Entity Framework, NuGet.
Experience developing database applications using SQL Server (2008 or above preferable).
Broad understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft technologies
Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum preferable)
Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS and Azure preferred)
Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture and Design
Familiarity with .NET Core (2.0), .NET Standard, Unity/ Autofac (or some other Dependency Injection framework).
Familiarity with NUnit and/or any other testing frameworks/suites
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT related field preferred
3-5+ years of development experience
Previous experience working in higher education desired
