Automotive Sales Professional Job Description:
- To guide the client through the process of purchasing a vehicle while providing top notch service before, during, and after the sale. This includes:
- Being an active listener to determine the wants and needs of the client
- To help select a vehicle that is best for them.
- Demonstrating the features and benefits of vehicles
- Presenting the client with options on financing.
- Being highly self-motivated, following up with sold and unsold clients and generating future business.
- Being detail oriented, displaying the ability to follow processes very closely
- Maintaining a positive attitude and remaining coachable.
- High degree of work ethic in following up with clients in a clear and efficient manner. Ability to negotiate private party acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities:
- High monthly sales volume (17 cars or more)
- Strong negotiating ability with minimal manager involvement
- Build relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
- Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Efficient work processes to create a great client experience
- Obtaining positive CSI/online reviews (4 stars or greater)
- Have at least 7 appointments shown monthly
- Be consistent and efficient with follow up including video messages
- Maintain a satisfied clientele base
- Customer first mentality with excellent customer service skills
- Great team member that is always willing to help all other team members
- Follow-up with buyers to ensure referral business.
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
- Report Directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
