Sales Executive – CPG / Food Industry (Kroger)
Regional/Midwest based food manufacturer hiring for a Sales Executive, located in the Cincinnati area. Will work from home office located in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas.
· Primary sales focus will be promoting branded food products into larger retail grocery and club channels (Ex. Kroger, Costco)
· Will directly manage key customers and work collaboratively with broker teams to effectively manage customer portfolio and retail sales results.
· Will manage a product portfolio of branded products (pricing strategy, placement guidelines, new item presentations, and portfolio development).
· Will develop sales and profit targets, goals, and forecasts. Develop sales objectives and category case volume objectives for all major customers.
Qualified Candidates:
· Proven record of successfully selling consumer products within retail grocery, club store, or broker experience. Demonstrated success of selling branded products within Kroger is required.
· Must have prior industry related experience, including packaged foods or similar consumer products.
· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to influence external buyers/customers.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer applications.
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or Marketing with 5+ years of industry related experience
· Candidate will work from their home office, preferably in the Metro Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky areas.
· Travel to customer locations, brokers, HQ, trade shows, etc. will be expected as needed.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
