Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests or residents.
Duties:
- Clean and tidy all areas in the facility, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and laundry
- Perform general housekeeping duties such as making beds, changing linens, and organizing living spaces
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Notify management of any damages or repairs needed
- Stock and maintain cleaning supplies
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Housekeeper or similar role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of laundering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in housekeeping management is a plus
- Cooking skills are beneficial
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning, floor care, and custodial duties
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is advantageous
