Our Dog Groomers/Bathers are skilled in bathing, de-matting, brushing out, hand blow-drying, moisturizing the coat, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and external anal gland expression. They observe, document and communicate any questions or concerns that need to be addressed with staff, management and pet owners.
Our Groomer/Bather position is commission based, up to 50% commission in high volume and consistent environment for grooms, up to 35% commission in high volume and consistent environment for baths.
Candidate Qualifications:
-Must have at least 1 year of professional experience bathing and/or grooming dogs
-Must demonstrate sufficient dog handing skills (training provided)
-Ability to take direction from management
-Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
-Ability to work independently to complete tasks proficiently
-Must be able to work in a vigorous physical manner, standing or walking 90% of the workday

-Must be patient and loving with dogs
-Must work well under fast-paced conditions
-Must be detail oriented and observant
-Must show common sense and good judgment
-Must be a team player with good communications skills
