Health Union, LLC is seeking a Statistical Analyst who will work within the company’s Media Department to provide valuable campaign performance insights, understand online audiences, and provide actionable takeaways across 20+ web properties. By leveraging a unique social media and engagement model, Health Union’s Media Team builds and delivers on custom digital media solutions that reach a highly qualified audience and create value for its online communities and deliver exceptional results to its media agency partners.
Within the larger Media Team, the Statistical Analyst will build and develop models to understand and forecast optimal campaign delivery needs to drive the best value for Health Union and its external media partners. Additionally, he/she will conduct internal analyses to support the Media Operations team in forecasting inventory, determining campaign delivery needs, and maximizing social ROI. What You Do:
Combine data from multiple sources and formats (including Google Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, various third-party measurement studies, and others), oversee data quality, and create data sets for statistical modeling and quantitative analysis.
Through statistical modeling and forecasting techniques, analyze, extract key insights from outputs, interpret statistical results, and communicate findings to larger team & leadership.
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis, ensuring applicability and accuracy.
Perform correlation analysis to determine which factors contribute to key metrics in Media Operations and campaign delivery.
Prepare and present analytical reports in a concise and digestible manner using data visualization graphics and other techniques.
Collaborate with other analysts, strategists, and media experts to develop joint analyses and effectively communicate findings to various stakeholders.
Develop best practices and demonstrate expertise in all phases of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualizations.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, data science, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience with data mining, statistical tools, and model building to solve problems and deliver business insights.
Statistical programming experience in R, Python, or similar tools is strongly desired.
Deep enough skill to write queries extract data and pull together concise, detailed reports. Experience with SQL also a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to translate results to Health Union’s Business Development team, senior leadership, and other internal departments.
Strategic thinker with sound business judgment and high intellectual curiosity; exceptional ability to translate statistical findings into actionable business takeaways to collaborate with internal partners at various levels.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Team player with the ability to operate cross-functionally and collaboratively
Experience with digital media or ad tech is a plus.
