Full Job Description

DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Transportation Manager, assist in planning, administering and monitoring the student transportation program of the Stamford school district which include regular, non-public and special education school transportation; assist in the coordination of bus aide assignments, responsibilities and payroll; performs clerical task for the BOE Finance department; does related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional college level studies or Bachelor’s degree preferred; can substitute for up to (2) years’ work experience.
Minimum of (5) years in Senior Customer Service related position.
Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
Ability to get along with diverse constituents, tactful, mature.
Five (5) years’ experience in student transportation or a related field
Advanced technology skills. (Excel, Access, Word)

SCOPE OF EXAMINATION: There will not be a written examination. Applicants will be ranked according to their education, training and experience.
