Our team has been providing excellence in dental care for 40 years, and we are seeking to add an experienced Patient Care Scheduling Coordinator to our call center team in our brand new state of the art building.
At TDC, the Patient Care Scheduling Coordinator’s role includes answering incoming calls in a timely manner and directing the caller to the appropriate destination while providing a smooth, clear, and professional communication practice. A Patient Care Coordinator is also responsible for answering all patient questions; scheduling patient’s visits, and procedures; and helping patients and their families make informed decisions throughout their treatment. Our new team member will have a willingness to work closely with our patients, our dentists, and other member of their team. Must be professional, detail-oriented, have exceptional phone skills and be able to handle a very fast-paced environment. Experience in the following:
- Bringing Smiles to Life – for our team and patients
- Answering phones with a smile. You are the voice of the practice and an extension of the atmosphere of our office.
- Scheduling next appointments for our patients
- Payment collections
- Insurance Verification
- Awareness of Schedule and Schedule changes
- Accurately entering patient information in to our practice management system
- Duties will be increased with more experience.
- Must be reliable, consistent, self- motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Paying attention to detail is a must.
Qualifications:
Our ideal team member will have relevant experience, including but not limited to the following:
- Superior customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care
- Ability to operate multiple computer programs effectively and efficiently – Dentrix Knowledge is a plus
- Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
- Dynamic interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a team
- Minimum of 1 yr experience dental front desk (dental experience preferred)
- Minimum of 1 yr experience verifying medical/dental insurances
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
