PO&G Resources is a rapidly growing, twenty-five-year-old private oil and gas company located in the Galleria/Uptown area of Houston, TX. With the ongoing expansion of our operations across multiple areas in the US and the launch of a second investor fund, the company is seeking two individuals to fill the position of Administrative Assistant in both our Land Department and Accounting Department due to internal promotions.
The successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities including:
- Responsible for departmental clerical functions
- Scan and organize files
- Provide administrative support including support for incoming mail
- Track incoming owner calls and emails and respond in a timely manner
- Assist with inputting relevant information into OGSys
- Monitor owner relations inboxes and organize for response
- Respond to owner inquiries, as assigned, and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
- Self-starter who can proactively manage the job functions and proactively communicate with management
- Practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving; hands on worker
- Well organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Oil and gas experience preferred
- Excellent customer service experience
- Associates degree preferred
- Ability to work give (5) days in the office
