This role is primarily responsible for performing accounting and reporting-related duties for Welltower’s Outpatient Medical partnerships with an institutional investor.
Managing the flow of financial information between the Welltower accounting team and our investor’s accounting team. Reviewing financial data and uploading into investor’s software.
Coordinating with FP&A and asset management to provide accurate budgets to our investor.
Executing monthly partnership internal controls and preparing related workpapers.
Calculating monthly distributions to Welltower and its investors.
Assisting with investor questions and ad hoc requests.
Preparing financial statements and serving as the primary resource for the partnerships’ annual financial statement audits.
Understanding the financial structure of the partnerships and the implications to Welltower and the investors.
Performing accounting activities for other partnerships and performing initial review of operator financial information. Following up with operators regarding unusual activity or balances and ensuring correct consolidation into Welltower’s financials and reporting.
Performing monthly uploads into Welltower’s financials and reconciliations of other operator financial information.
Performing other duties as required.

Experience: Work experience of at least three years in Accounting. Professional certification, CPA is strongly desired. Knowledge of accounting theory, including GAAP and IFRS is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
