Job Summary:
The Manager of Product Data has the responsibility for leading the ABC Supply Enterprise product data strategy and ensuring high quality product data is created/maintained within ABC systems. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross-functional leadership to align organizational objectives with data strategy for the ABC Supply.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop Data Strategy:
-
Work with senior leadership and key stakeholders in the evolution of the Product Data vision, strategy, roadmap and data governance across all ABC platforms and systems.

Collaboration with Key Stakeholders:
-
Partner with Branch, IT and Merchandising stakeholders to ensure data structure and model can support all technology platforms and analytics.

Identify and establish the appropriate teams within the organization to setup and maintain all product data elements.

Partner with Enterprise Architecture that ABC Supply data is organized, scalable and aligns with future business needs.

Efficiency & Data Accuracy:
-
Identify opportunities for integration with third parties including suppliers, customers, and other providers to provide the easiest and most comprehensive set of product data in the industry.

Develop metrics for all data management activities to identify efficiencies and communicate benefits and outcomes associated.

Identify best practices and look for continuous improvement opportunities to efficiently manage all data in the organization.

Master Data Team Leadership:

Mentor and develop a team of product data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Develop the operating model, team structure and management processes that efficiently and effectively support the Product Data roadmap.

Manage the budget and identify resource needs for the department.

Technology Evaluation:
-
Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends in data management, analytics and business intelligence tools to ensure that ABC Supply is a leader in innovation. Work with ABC IT leadership to ensure ABC has best-in-class data and analytic capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of data strategy or enterprise data management experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Construction/Building Materials experience preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in the principles of data management, database design, data warehousing and business intelligence tools. Experience with leading MDM applications.
Leadership Skills: Proven experience in establishing and delivering outcomes in a master data function across a similarly complex organization.
Business Oriented: Strong business acumen and capability to understand the nuance of data impact on the business.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and history of delivering results in a cross-functional organization.
