GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
- The NP will meet adult patients over Zoom who have addiction and MH issues and prescribe the necessary meds. And provide follow up with the patients on their journey to recovery.
- The NP will be placed on a bi-annual retainer for availability and paid $200 per session hour.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury related to addiction use disorder and mental health.
- Medication prescription and management for clients in treatment for addiction and mental health.
- Utilization of the ASAM guidelines in directing care of participants.
- Assessment of withdrawal symptoms to determine appropriate protocols and the application of those protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have an active and current Wisconsin NP license
- Addiction medicine and mental health training and/or board certification REQUIRED
