The Digital Analytics & Global Capabilities team’s mission is to provide strategic insights to enable Kraft Heinz eCommerce in driving out sized growth through innovation, experimentation and disruption, delivering strong results and a best in class consumer experience. The team’s analytical responsibilities extend across a wide scope including: Sales & Market Share, Assortment & Availability, Content and Placement, Pricing and Promotion, Placement, and Performance Management, as well as several strategic projects to ensure performance excellence on pace with eCommerce evolution. The team works very closely with Sales, Finance, Content, Media, Category Management groups, within the US and internationally.
The Manager will lead business analytics and insights for key Kraft Heinz countries/markets across the globe, and will be responsible in providing cross-functional teams with end-to-end business-critical insights and overall support to drive the business. This role will also be responsible for critical improvement projects which will be key in driving the Digital Analytics strategy.
Analyze sales and market share data for customers under responsibility, and provide insights to Sales and Finance teams, in order to inform critical decision making to continue to grow the business and our position (market share) within it.
Analyze overall business health performance within customers under responsibility, acquire a deep understanding of business performance and correlations, and provide detailed performance insights to cross-functional teams to drive the business. Develop and communicate diagnostics to aid in business health initiatives planning. Business health includes, but is not limited to content, placement, and ratings & reviews, among others.
Analyze assortment and supply chain performance within customers under responsibility, and provide detailed performance insights and diagnostics to drive continuous improvement in both assortment and supply chain.
Be a thought leader in performance analytics and diagnostics, ensuring provided data is an accurate representation of our business performance, and is adopted by the teams as required to drive growth.
Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects in the area of Digital Analytics, ensuring projects under responsibility are managed with utmost quality and timeliness. Ability to lead and influence will be instrumental, as well as attention to detail and the highest standards in data science.
Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommended system modifications and development policies for data governance.
Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or Data Science.
Use of statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable in driving business decisions. Technical skills include knowledge of database languages such as SQL, R, or Python; spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; and data visualization software such as Tableau or Qlik. Mathematical and statistical skills are also valuable to help gather, measure, organize, and analyze data.
Leadership skills to complete decision-making and problem-solving tasks. Ability to think strategically about the information that will help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and to communicate the value of this information effectively.
Preparing reports for leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
3-5 years proven experience in data analytics projects.
Consumer packaged goods or eCommerce experience is a plus.
Strong communication and team skills.
Strong quantitative and analytics skills.
Multi-tasker who can manage projects across multiple categories simultaneously.
Naturally inquisitive, highly driven, and very self-sufficient.
