Office Manager

KM Landscaping is a design/build landscape construction company that is located just minutes West of Omaha in Yutan, Nebraska. We are seeking a self motivated and disciplined person to manage the accounting, HR and day to day operations. Job duties include but are not limited to:

Clerical / Customer Service / Accounting

  • Employee management including hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations
  • Answering phone calls taking messages
  • Communicating with new lead customers (no cold calling)
  • Appointment scheduling
  • Data Entry
  • Mailing (In bound and out bound)
  • Estimating and Invoicing
  • Advertise for employment
  • Interview potential employees
  • All HR duties including payroll reporting
  • Sales tax remittance
  • Insurance audits, claims and reporting
  • Communicates with Sales / Designer / Supervisors / Foreman / Vendors / Customers
  • Opening and/or Closing
  • Social Media

Assist other departments as needed with:

  • Training new employees
  • Keep training material current and up to date with methods and services
  • Maintaining inventory
  • Scheduling Locates with 811
  • Order all job materials / coordinate deliveries / organize job materials
  • Contact customers with start dates and update them with schedule changes
  • Plant Management and Care
  • Maintain project schedule board
  • Logistics Support (Supply Runner)
  • Drafting Assistant
  • Load trucks for crews / vendors

Office Skills Required

  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Microsoft Word and Excel

Education and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Driver’s License with good driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, kneel, stand, and walk without any restrictions. Lift up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to climb in and out of all vehicles and equipment
  • Drug and Alcohol free while on the job
  • Uphold all safety and OSHA regulations and policies.
