Full Job Description
Provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit. Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide activities of junior employees, as needed.
2+ years of experience with advanced analytics in a professional work environment
2+ years of experience with using data visualization tools, including Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik
Experience with presenting results to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work independently to achieve successful results with minimal guidance
Ability to exhibit flexibility and initiative when dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree
Experience with leading teams in the data analytics space
Experience with using a scripting language and using associated packages commonly used in data science applications or advanced analytics
Experience with R, Perl, Python, Java, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or Matlab
Experience with database management and manipulation using SQL
Experience with performing data exploration and analysis to support analytics objectives, including directing the data gathering, data mining, and data processing processes in large volume creating appropriate data models
Experience with designing novel data analytic methods and workflows, including full data pipelines from raw data through analysis results
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills, including juggling multiple priorities
MA or MS degree in Operations Research, Applied Statistics, CS, Data Mining, or Machine Learning
