AppointmentPlus is a fast-growing online appointment scheduling software company. What does that mean? We are looking for a results-driven, motivated go-getter to help drive business for our Sales team. The role is primarily inbound. So most leads will flow into you. Many prospects will be mid-size to larger companies, so having experience in dealing with longer sales cycles and more complex sales is helpful. This role requires a strong ability to build long-term relationships usually across several departments within a prospect’s organization. So, you must always think of yourself as a consultant who truly wants to help a prospect solve their problems. In addition to being able to build strong relationships with prospects, it’s also critical that you are able to coordinate and navigate among several departments internally including our Professional Services and Product teams.

This is a software sales position, so being able to quickly come up to speed on the application is key. And, being able to converse about technical concepts like APIs, data flow, security and server infrastructure is necessary.

The Sales Account Executive reports to the Sales Director.


  • Work with leads from inception to close.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering to prepare materials for prospects including requirements, data flow, and software integrations.
  • Present solutions to prospects via phone, webinar or in-person.
  • Coordinate with Professional Services in providing modification estimates to prospects.
  • Work with Security and Compliance to complete any required security questionnaires.
  • Work with client procurement and legal staff to finalize contracts.
  • Maintain consistent contact with prospects throughout sales cycle.
  • Maintain excellent records in our CRM (Salesforce).


  • Experience in selling B2B software with modifications and customizations as part of the sale.
  • 2+ years of consultative selling experience.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Comfortable performing sales presentations to executives.
  • Ability to navigate within a complex, multi-department corporate environment.
  • Ability to deal with contracts.
  • Ability to comprehend and speak intelligently about technical concepts.
