The Warehouse Lead will perform all aspects of picking an order and putting items away in the warehouse and conduct daily maintenance shop housekeeping is in compliant of safety standards. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for following, leading, and demonstrating the adherence to safety and quality principles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversees the warehouse personnel to make sure product is picked correctly
- Ensures items coming in are placed in the appropriate area
- Ensures that all orders are picked for that day.
- Responsible for ensuring that pictures are being taken during packing
- Responsible for conducting a minimum of 3 safety observation per month
- Oversees that all of the fork trucks are being maintained (Checking the dailies on each fork truck and person that is assigned to it)
- First to respond and notify the Operations Manager should any safety concerns occur
- Responsible for posting orders into Navision as a back-up
- Ensuring Warehouse Personnel are printing the mill certs with each ticket
- Execute cycle counts each month in the warehouse to ensure that the ERP system is accurate.
- Perform quality checks during each process
- Storing final products in proper locations
- Preparing materials for shipping
- Lifting of raw materials, finished goods, and other supplies

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts a plus
High School diploma or GED required
