PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded technical sales individual to join our PTC sales organization in Europe where you will have the opportunity work with the acknowledged leader in the incredibly dynamic OT / IoT application space. The Kepware Key Account role is dedicated to European Kepware Platform sales development of European key accounts – both through our network of regional Partners and to direct strategic accounts.
With a huge install base of Kepware Industrial Connectivity Products worldwide, our current customer base includes many companies in a wide range of verticals, segments and industries. And our customer embrace End Users, Industrial System Integrators and HW/SW OEMs.
We are looking for a motivated sales professional with extensive domain expertise in industrial automation products and solutions. You will be part of a small European Kepware Platform Business Team inside PTC – and will also work with our global PTC IOT Sales teams.
Achieve assigned revenue target by selling the PTC Kepware Product line of industrial connectivity products/solutions to existing and new key accounts in the industrial and commercial products space.
Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition and win customers trust in you and the products to negotiating through close.
Provide leadership to a cross-functional account team (sales, pre-sales, training, and post-sales)
Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship with partners/customers/prospects
Up to 30% of the time may be dedicated to travel – primary in Europe.
Ability to work from a remote location may be required.
Your Skills and Knowledge:
5+ years experience in technical selling - background in OT/Industrial IT products in the industrial automation space highly preferred
Successful sales track record & consistent top performer
Basic knowledge of industrial automation monitoring and control applications, e.g. PLCs, SCADA. MES, OEE and ERP in manufacturing, infrastructure and/or utility industries
Ideally experience from similar role selling other hardware/software product brands used in industrial automation.
Able to work in a team and goals driven
Excellent written & oral communication skills in English is mandatory, and additional languages skill in German, Spanish and/or French are an advantage.
