Develop pre-construction and construction job schedules to maintain timely and profitable job completion.

Job Description:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with dense urban large scale mixed use luxury commercial high rise construction
  • Experience creating and analyzing various “what-if” schedule scenarios to optimize trade flow and productivity
  • Experience comparing and analyzing subcontractor bid schedules
  • Experience working with international clients is a plus
  • Ability to think outside the box and brainstorm creative solutions to complex scenarios
  • Role will involve schedule development, manipulation, and analysis on a daily basis – this is not a schedule status collection/input/reporting role
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Ability to perform all Scheduler responsibilities
  • Use Company-approved computer scheduling system
  • Develop pre-construction proposal/bid schedules
  • Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of master project schedules, subcontractor schedules, and in updating schedules
  • Perform schedule analysis for change orders and claims
  • Assist in claims preparation and analysis
  • Develop scheduling department procedures
  • Train field personnel in scheduling procedures
  • Prepare “as built” schedules
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years scheduling experience
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction methods and processes
  • Construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path Method
  • Familiarity with job cost information
  • Computer skills
