Under the direction of the Office of the Provost, the Director must build the campus’ capacity to use data to both respond to external demands and inform immediate strategic campus priorities. This person is an important part of the Division, supporting the effective use and reporting of data so that the campus can measure and respond in a timely manner to key strategic priorities. This person leads a unit that, among other activities, fulfills a wide range of institutional data requirements, including accreditation support, measurement of student success initiatives, strategic enrollment planning, and submission of rankings-related data to external agencies. In addition to data collection and analysis, the Director participates in efforts to enhance student information system functionality and to provide self-service tools that enable campus end users to access institutional data.
