Personal Assistant to Entrepreneur/Business Owner

I have my hands in a lot of things right now. I need a personal assistant to take care of the administrative work, so I can spend my time growing my business and customer base. You help me grow my business, you'll make more money. You will interact with clients, send and respond to emails, pay bills, keep track of deadlines and to do lists, identify and solve problems to keep customers moving through the sales process, and pick up the pieces as they fall along the way. Looking for a self-starter that will identify problems and find the solutions, without being told what to do every step of the way. Hopefully you are motivated and want to see my businesses grow, as that could lead to growth in your position as well.

What things do I do? I run a residential solar sales team of about 70 sales representatives throughout San Diego County. I also manage my own customers that I personally sell and their referrals. I have a fun product startup on the side that I'm passionate about, but I don't have enough time to build and market it. I try to invest my money in real estate property 1-2 times a year. I also serve in my community and in my church. I have a wife and kids. It's a lot, and I get behind pretty quickly. I need someone to take care of all the administrative work that stresses me out and slows me down. I will pay more as you add more value. This could be a lot of fun. Endless opportunities for growth. I'd prefer someone that adds so much value that we grow this together and maybe transition full-time to my start up ideas, but right now I just need someone that is excellent at managing a lot of tasks and emails and can quickly learn how to move my clients through the solar sales process.

Some of your day-to-day actives would include but are not limited to the following:

  • Interact with solar customers through text, email, or phone calls to provide them with updates or check up on them.
  • Manage my emails for my solar business - from customers, employees, and corporate departments
  • Help me manage my pipeline and work to push accounts through to install. This could include requesting a new design for a solar system, working with various departments at corporate to solve issues with accounts, answer questions for my sales reps or customers, and sending out proposals. Lucrative bonuses available.
  • Run an errand to a customer's house
  • Manage basic tasks for my product startup on the side by keeping track of orders, sales, shipments from China, and customer reviews
  • Pay bills and other random personal needs (I'm low maintenance)
  • Work with my accountant and financial advisors on taxes and basic tasks
  • Help me manage my calendar.

Salary: $20,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
