The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Deputy Director of Mission Integration (MI) serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) senior leader for intelligence integration across the IC enterprise. MI is responsible for ensuring customer outcomes by leading advances in collection and analysis that ensure the quality, timeliness, and utility of insights for the nation's decision-makers.
Major Duties and Responsibilities (MDRs)
Perform a comprehensive range of support actions for the Chair by managing all administrative requirements. This includes managing all calendar appointments, evaluating email and correspondence, prioritizing action items, and coordinating responses within established deadlines.
Serve as primary liaison with, and facilitate effective communications between, the NIC Chair and other senior executives, management, and staff, both internal and external to ODNI. Assist with drafting memos and emails
Manage workflow of issues by continuously adapting schedules based on accurate assessments of criticality, sensitivity, and confidentiality. Resolve complex administrative problems by rescheduling planned meetings, identifying appropriate contacts, administering databases and files, and finding new information sources.
Prepare for and coordinate senior-level visits and high-level meetings and events; to include liaison engagements. Ensure arrangements for security clearances, VIP parking, and building accesses. Assist with researching and preparing background information on attendees; develop meeting agendas.
Arrange sensitive and complex domestic and foreign travel documents and prepare and coordinate schedules, itineraries, passport/visa requests, lodging, and travel accounting; plan and support the transportation of material and people.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Chair's travel and representational accounting.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of methods of operation and professional protocol. Propose improvements for greater efficiencies in front office management.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Demonstrated ability to apply executive support concepts, principles, and practices when dealing with a variety of time-sensitive technical and administrative procedures.
Knowledge and experience in protocol procedures for VIP visits, courtesy calls, and the ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in coordinating visits from and greeting senior executives.
Mandatory and Educational Requirements
Extensive knowledge of the ODNI, IC, Congress, and the overall national security apparatus, as well as ODNI and IC standards for correspondence, administrative regulations, policies, entitlements, allowances, and unique authorities.
Extensive knowledge and demonstrated skill in the application of office support, computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, administrative applications (travel/accounting/etc.), email, calendars, and database storage/retrieval.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of office management and administrative functions involving logistics, facilities, budget, finance, contracts, travel, security, and Human Resource procedures and systems.
Extensive knowledge of organizational protocol policies and procedures and of quality assurance procedures to ensure data integrity and timeliness; knowledge of filing and records management systems and practices.
Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the demonstrated ability to develop working relationships and networks with internal and external managers and staff.
Demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the demonstrated ability to interpret complex information from multiple sources.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work effectively with ODNI's leaders in a highly active, fast-paced, and demanding organization.
