Property holding company is seeking an individual for a long term position who can help manage and place tenants in a small group of single family rental homes/units in the Charlotte, NC metro area. Candidate should have a very good sense of how to handle maintenance issues most economically/efficiently and have suggestions for lower cost vendors/handymen. Position is ideal for someone who is working for a management company full time or otherwise wants flexibility and already has other rental property they are managing and wants some extra side income. This can be done on the side as someone builds their managed portfolio. It is a plus if the candidate is able to handle some basic tenant maintenance troubleshooting themselves. Commissions are paid on rent and other income received. This is a part-time, independent contractor position. You will operate independently from your home office utilizing our existing paperless system (our software, leases and document library, applications, screenings, marketing, etc). We are a management company that owns and manages its own units. Real estate license is not required. We are a full-service property management division hiring an individual to assist (we do not need a full-service, third party property management company). Commissions are paid on income received. Note: The compensation from this small piece of management would not be a primary source of income for the candidate filling this position. Instead, it is ideal from someone who is managing other units and/or has another source of income. On the flip side, it is not ideal for someone who has a very demanding full time position elsewhere.
