Product Manager - Mountain View

NeuroPace is seeking a passionate, medical device product manager with launch experience. The role of Product Manager covers both upstream and downstream activities. The Product Manager will be responsible for NeuroPace’s responsive neurostimulation therapy for the treatment of refractory epilepsy.

Specific Responsibilities include:
Downstream marketing

Responsible for managing commercial products through the entire product lifecycle.
Establish product positioning and competitive messaging.
Develop launch plans and manage early-phase commercial activities. Lead cross-functional teams through all aspects of the product launch process, including inventory forecasting, pricing, and customer targeting.
Develop launch materials and sales training materials, including product literature, brochures, sales aids, videos and any other collateral material required to support sales, training and key marketing messages.
Participate in internal/external training activities, including training the field team and customers on new product features and benefits.
Measure product success through post-launch product feedback to ensure revenue optimization.
Be an internal subject matter expert on all product and user-experience feedback. Lead and manage usability feedback or market preference testing as needed.
Track competitive products and emerging technology, and provide messaging/competitive materials to field as necessary.
Serve as primary contact for other functional groups (developers, designers, quality, regulatory)
Provide updates to sales relating to publications, product support and/or product development activities.
Plan and execute VIP visits for target customers identified by sales

Upstream Marketing:
Work with the rest of the marketing organization and cross functional counterparts to create a robust long range strategic plan through market sizing, analysis of NeuroPace internal competencies and adjacencies that could be fruitful business development partnerships
Develop business cases to guide investment decisions within the product portfolio.
Represents the voice of the customer by clearly understanding customer needs, providing use-case examples and marketing requirements documents to engineering. Serves as the primary bridge between market feedback and requirements and R&D.
Participate in cross-functional core development teams, representing the commercial side of the business within those teams
Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Desired Skills and Experience

We are looking for a BS degree and 4+ years of related product management experience that includes product planning, launch, customer interaction and a direct connection to product development. Product management experience in medical device, digital health or medical services required.

Proven ability to effectively position and communicate product value.
Strong written, presentation & communication skills
Capacity to learn new technical skills and build clinical acumen for clear communication in all customer-facing materials.
Ability to work independently, using good judgment, initiative and analytical abilities, to accomplish short and long-range projects, anticipate likely needs, and recommend actions with minimal direction. Demonstrated time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to quickly ascertain technical aspects of product and informatics
Ability to work as a team member and to be very flexible, adaptable, and to work under pressure; Project management (how to execute projects and who to work with).
Self-motivated and self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments; enjoys the challenges of multitasking and working at a fast pace while staying flexible to shift tasks frequently
