What you will enjoy doing*

You will lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area, including prioritizing, assigning, and optimizing work assignments, overtime, and administrative duties, and ensure employees understand and complete delegated tasks
In this position, you will set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates
This position will build positive employee relationships based on defined measurable goals, open communication, and participative management including constructive feedback and coaching
You will support Open Communication with active listening of employee concerns and with the support of Human Resources
Further, you will foster good working relations, teamwork and communication among operators and other departments.
Maintain timekeeping, personnel records including preparing and submitting performance records and make recommendations on reward and promotion based on performance
You will also support the interviewing, hiring and training of new employees and work with the Training Coordinator(s) to assist with the effective training and continual development of Production Operators and maintain documentation/certifications

What makes you great

To qualify for this role, you will need an associate’s degree with 4-6 years of operations experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of operations experience or 8-10+ years of leadership experience in an operations/manufacturing environment
In this role, you will work nights 10-12 hours to support 2nd and 3rd shift production
This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and outstanding organizational, problem solving and leadership skills
You will need a good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Suite
