We are seeking a passionate and driven individual with solid Government contract experience as a Business Operations Manager to implement and oversee all aspects of TALOS project management activities. TALOS is a DIA initiative to advance the state of the art in Big Data, data analysis, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced analytics to enhance the DoD’s and the IC’s information processes and technical architectures.

What You’ll Get to Do:
Lead an amazing team of TALOS project managers and project coordinators to execute TALOS projects; resource load implementation schedules and cost estimates for major short- and long-term projects
Prepare and manage budgets and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses
Manage project efforts to meet stakeholder’s expectations by facilitating TDL responses including LOEs and project plans
Identify and secure the required team resources to meet project objectives
Ensure personnel and financial resources align with schedule and cost baselines
Meet deliverables, timelines, milestones, and contractual obligations as stated in the contract
Design, organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments, including WBS development
Conduct cross-project team meetings to ensure all project teams have a complete understanding and buy-in to assigned tasks, schedule, deliverables, budget, risks, and measures of success
Manage subcontractor progress on deliverables, ensuring end-products meet product specifications, requirements, and align with financial and schedule baselines.
Manage and control change processes, communicating with stakeholders any change implications.
Meet with executive management and stakeholders to report project status.
Manage and communicate project risks; Identify the critical path; Develop risk mitigation and contingency plans
Oversee and manage the creation of Project Plans with the assistance of Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and other team members.
Capture lessons learned at the close of each project, and document the project for appropriate knowledge transfer
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Must have an active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain Poly security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
10+ years of related experience managing large government contract(s) (preferably larger than 250 FTE)
Understanding of Agile software development environment
Proficient in PM and other data management/activity tracking tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Excel) to adhere to program milestones
Ability to operate independently within set guidelines
Ability to lead and mentor other Project Managers
Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask
Must have PMP Certification
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience working in Mission Essential Environment
Experience fulfilling the DIA mission in support of the COCOMs
ACTIVE TS/SCI POLY
MA/MS degree in Information Technology
Certified Scrum Master and ITIL certification
