About the job
At Google we’re committed to improving the lives of as many people as possible. One of the most important areas in which we’re striving to do that is health.
Today we’re studying the use of artificial intelligence to assist in diagnosing cancer, predicting patient outcomes, preventing blindness, and much more. We’re exploring ways to improve patient care, including tools that are already being used by clinicians. And we’re partnering with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help improve the care patients receive.
As a Regulatory Affairs Lead you'll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.
As the second most regulated industry (after nuclear) navigating international rules that govern healthcare is complex and challenging. Our team is working to deliver solutions that ensure product developers and clinical researchers are confident that their efforts to improve global healthcare needs also meet these exacting standards.
These are just the first steps of an exciting journey that the Google Health team is passionate about taking. Our team includes experts who are leveraging expertise in AI, hardware, products, and more to solve the big challenges in healthcare to help people lead healthier, more productive lives. This team works closely with other groups within Google and across Alphabet.
Scaling regulatory operations and compliance from researching the application of technology to the worldwide implementation of transformative solutions.
Pioneer change across Alphabet, working with partners across health teams to identify areas of shared concern, develop adoptable technical roadmaps and designs to address these concerns, and both pilot and advocate for these programs.
Drive a portfolio of projects through their end-to-end lifecycle, from requirements gathering to scoping, initiation, project planning, execution, and delivery.
Refine process to scale with this quickly growing team; update documentation and test out new innovative ideas with an eye towards future processes or tools needed to simplify, automate, and make work repeatable and sustainable.
