Responsibilities
Guardaroba Vogue Italia & L’Uomo Vogue: accommodate and manage stylist teams who visit the office to receive, hang, steam & pack etc. clothes.
Ordering messengers as needed per shoot. All must be inputted and monitored electronically.including organizing wardrobe to and from each set. Including keeping record of outside pick ups and returns to ensure that samples are returned to the proper showrooms.
Organizing run throughs for various editors that come to work from the office.
Maintaining and providing wardrobe supplies. i.e racks, steamers, hangers, shopping and garment bags, trunks (to transport clothes to and from set), labels, locks, etc. needed for stylists. Maintaining fashion closet neat and efficient.
Following and controlling of all incoming and outgoing shipments for all U.S. shoots, including communication with customs broker and U.S. couriers (Fedex, DHL, UPS) for smooth deliveries. Locking, Labelling and Tagging all shipments properly.
Collections of wardrobe as per various Milan editors and shipping of clothes to and from shoots outside of New York, usually Miami and LA, sometimes London and Milan.
support in magazine distribution for all the US contributors, roughly 200 copies per month (Hair, makeup, manicure, stylists, models, photographers, journalists and agents).
Occasional errands / general office work, filing, copies, etc.
Organization of NY fashion week. In NY requests for every single show must be made to every PR and followed up with. Follow up includes rsvp to each show, requesting and collecting seat assignments, preparing individual schedules with locations and seat assignments and delivering all to each editor each day. NY fashion week twice a year February and September.
Assist in organizing fashion week show requests for Giovanni Bianco and Patti Wilson.
