Tikra Roofing is an established commercial roofing contractor that provides multiple roofing applications (TPO PVC, EDPM, Mod Bit, Shingles, Tile, Coatings, and Standing Seam). We are expanding our Commercial Re-Roof Division.
Supervision of roofing crews. The key responsibilities include training, safety, quality, and schedule on all projects within the specific scope of work. Work with administration and operations to complete projects and change orders as needed. Interaction with customer superintendents and/ or project managers to complete projects in a timely manner. Work Directly with Subcontractors to ensure quality and time project completion.
Must have experience and knowledge of the following:
- TPO is a must. Commercial highrise usally less than 4 stories, but may be ask to do up to 13, and steep slope residential.
- Experience with composition shingle roofing applications from start to finish.
- Management of roofing crews on several different sites.
- Scheduling of crews and materials.
- Standing Seam/Metal Roofing
- Standard sheet metal fabrications and applications of those metal flashings.
- Travel Required. We are in 5 states TX, LA, GA, NJ and FL. Must be willing to travel and some Saturday work on large jobs under a strict construction schedule.
- Must take photos and turn in daily progress reports to home office.
Experience/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial roofing
- OSHA 10 certification
- Proven leadership and employee development ability
- Knowledge of ability to read, understand and interpret construction drawings
- Proven ability to interact with employees and customers in an appropriate, professional manner
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety: PPE 100%
- Development of Foreman and field employees
- On-site management and control of the project; safety, quality, teamwork
- Positive reinforcement for a job well done with all team members
- Safety-Walk, Quality Walk, and Production
- Constant review of job costs and report any items of importance to the Project Manager (PM)
- Point out potential cost/savings issues as related to job or company performance
- Directly responsible for productivity in relation to estimated productivity
- Ensure all equipment & personnel are allocated to the assigned project
- Must be Bilingual
Ensure the weekly and submittal of payroll. This will involve roofers and office personnel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Roofing: 1 year (Required)
- Leadership: 1 year (Preferred)
- Commercial Roofing: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
- OSHA 10 (Preferred)
