POSITION

The Executive Sous Chef will maintain a safe, efficient and profitable service kitchen. He/she will accomplish this through total product knowledge, maintaining established food and labor costs and structured management controls. Duties also include adherence to food, health and sanitation standards, staffing, inventory and tight management controls.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years as an Sous Chef or Assistant Kitchen Manager
  • 3-5 years in restaurant or catering kitchens
  • ServSafe certification
  • Basic PC skills
  • Sufficient command of English
  • Ability to formulate, cost and record recipes
  • Quality food presentation
  • Ordering, purchasing and receiving
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds
  • Able to stand for an eight hour shift
