Job Description
The Senior Analyst, Shopper Marketing is an integral part of the Central Shopper Marketing team within the Sales Operations department. The Senior Analyst, Shopper Marketing reports to the Shopper Marketing Lead and oversees a team of direct reports supporting the Central and Field Shopper Marketing Teams.

In addition to the above, the Senior Analyst, Shopper Marketing will serve as the advisor to SM Leads in the field, project manager to the Central SM Team, and trusted partner to the Central/Brand Marketing team. As an internal liaison, connecting the BUs to the field, this role will provide great value in aligning company goals that translate to meeting KPIs during each in-store priority window.

The primary responsibilities include:
Manage and develop a team of Shopper Marketing Coordinators that provide added value and ongoing support to the Field and Central Team.
Assist Shopper Marketing Lead with project management of key Shopper Marketing initiatives.
Lead communication efforts with the SM field teams to create awareness of best practices, new suppliers, and incremental shopper marketing program proposals, execution, and tracking.
Act as a liaison to brand marketing teams, bringing national consumer promotion visibility to the field for customer sell-in support and in-store amplification
Oversee the ongoing enhancements to KH’s Digital Asset Management tool
Create and train SM team on Standard Operating Procedures for Field support
Identify opportunities to improve and streamline requests to the field.
Prepare and report roll ups for funding requests, coupon redemptions and other internal reporting/tracking.
Facilitate Customer reviews, approvals and materials release for shopper marketing programs.
Develop strong, trusted relationships with internal departments, external agencies, and vendors to create best in class marketing programs

Additional responsibilities may include :
Coupon Development – coding, systems input, monitoring
BU/Legal/Third Party Reviews and Approvals of shopper marketing programs
Linkage to legal and support teams for Trademark/Resources expertise
Securing Access to Creative Assets

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Marketing/Business
3-5 years of experience in a marketing, manufacturer, or shopper marketing/insights role a plus
Agency experience preferred, but not required
Marketing passion – very interested in consumer/shopper behavior and a basic knowledge of marketing frameworks. Passion to understand consumer culture, interests, attitudes and trends.
Strong Leadership Skills – highly proactive, creatively inclined, self-starter, great motivation, open to change and out of the box/creative thinking
Superior Execution – willingness to roll up sleeves and execute key initiatives in a timely manner.
Great Relationship Skills – Strong at forging internal/external relationships and commanding trust/respect of others.
Process Management – Accurate and timely reporting with drive to improve and streamline processes. Technology savvy, especially in excel and power point.
Advanced Communication Skills – ability to tell and sell the story. The role requires presentations and direct meetings with external customers and agencies.
Strong Analytical/Problem Solving Skills – perform situation analyses/financial returns/identify growth strategies
