Foodland Super Market, Hawaii's largest locally owned grocery retailer is hiring for Grocery Clerks to join our team!
This is an hourly position and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- ensure the grocery section of the store is well-stocked for our customers
- assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while ensuring proper product rotation and quality
- create and build product displays, ensure proper fronting of products
- handle product damages and credits according to company policy
- Grocery Clerks must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items
- must be able to perform all duties of a cashier as needed and directed by management
- must be able to work overnight shifts
Qualifications and requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must successfully pass math test
- Must successfully pass cashier training after hire
- TB Clearance required
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements
