JOB SUMMARY
Assist in video asset production by making selects reels for Creative Directors, updating text and assets in AE or Premiere project files, and generally supporting Motion Designers/Editors to generate a wide array of deliverables. This person is an expert in Adobe Premiere and has a basic to strong working knowledge of After Effects. They have strong technical proficiency and compulsion for precision.

To accomplish these tasks, Assistant Editors function organizationally within the Motion Department (reporting to the Motion Department Director) while operating within a client-based team alongside Producers, Designers, and Creatives in order to develop thoughtful, aesthetically compelling, and technically impressive content that delight audiences while exceeding client-set success metrics.

This is a great opportunity for someone with editing experience who is interested in learning motion graphics. Ideally, they would be interested in learning motion and design, and be excited to take on increasingly complex assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiently deliver files as specified by senior team members.
Assist in sourcing and selecting content for videos.
Work in a meticulously organized and precise fashion to facilitate the production of dozens or hundreds of videos from templates.
REQUIREMENTS
Mastery of Adobe Premiere.
Strong proficiency in After Effects.
Strong proficiency in audio editing in Adobe Premiere or an audio-specific program (Pro-Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Adobe Audition, etc).
An insatiable aptitude for new tools and techniques.
