The Guest Services Cashier at Eldora is a front-line position that involves dealing with a potentially high volume of guests in a fast-paced environment. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: greeting and acknowledging all guests, selling and fulfilling all mountain products including rentals, lessons, tickets, passes, programs, and food and beverage items. As a member of the Guest Services team, all cashiers will need to be proficient in the product offerings of Eldora, and be a source of high quality customer service to our guests.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively engages with all Eldora guests either in-person or over-the-phone
Balancing of personal cashier bank every day including resolving over/short cash issues and providing necessary back-up for daily transactions
Provides accurate product and mountain information to guests
Maintains work station by cleaning and restocking supplies
Handles all inquiries and complaints in a professional and competent manner
Upholds all Eldora policies and procedures
Arrives to work on-time and follows schedule
Adheres to all grooming guidelines
Must have cash handling experience
Must have basic computer skills and phone knowledge
Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be available weekends and holiday periods
Minimum schedule requirement: 2 days per week in addition to 8 peak days
Must speak and read English fluently
This position requires a minimum age of 18 years
Must be able to speak clearly and hear normal conversations in a noisy environment
