Work you’ll do

The Forensic Accountant will work independently to solve complex problems and evaluate controls associated with complex business relationships. In support of Federal investigations and prosecutions, the Forensic Accountant will perform complex analysis using criminal investigative tools and other client owned databases. The use of domestic and international databases will be for extensive research and analysis to correlate, summarize and present findings to the Case Agents and U.S. Attorneys involved in the cases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or other Business-related field
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Top Secret clearance for this role
2+ years of Forensic, Investigative, and/or Discovery industry related experience
Demonstrated knowledge of the procedures and techniques generally prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
Possess knowledge of current and anticipated banking anti-money laundering regulations and practices, as well as, develop ways in which to identify and combat the exploitation of the regulations
Experience working independently with minimal supervision and guidance
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools

  • JD or MBA
