The Spring 2020 Rotational Internship Program provides an intern the opportunityto work full-time or part-time (January – May) and to…

· Support four practice groups within the firm: InvestmentStrategy Group (ISG), Wealth Advisory Group (WAG), Operations (OPS), andPractice Management (PM).

· Implement classroomlearning and create a positive impact for clients and team members.

· Experience uniquesituations and how to customize solutions for client needs.

· Gain a full perspectiveon wealth advisory services.

Internship Role

You’llaccomplish the following, but not limited to:

ISG Opportunities will include, but are not limited to

  • Support the ISG Portfolio Management team in the day-to-day oversight of client investment portfolios – i.e. prepare rebalances, cash management, implementation plans, proposals, etc.
  • Create and distribute due diligence reports and schedules on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Perform trade order execution, buying and selling securities as directed by portfolio managers and/or advisors.

WAG, OPS, and PMOpportunities will include, but are not limited to

  • Attend client meetings and prepare performance and quarterly reports via the Wealth Advisory Group.
  • Obtain and maintain confidential client information in financial planning software, reporting software, and CRM.
  • Administer new and existing client account paperwork via the Wealth Advisory Group and custodians.
  • Monitor and reconcile asset transfers and cost basis on account openings and document maintenance.
  • Foster professional client relationships: coordinate signatures, answer questions via phone or email, etc.
  • Complete daily reconciliations related to the firm’s systems via the Practice Management Group.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Tax and Financial Planning to understand of tax laws, review 1099 tax forms for reasonableness and coordinate with clients’ tax preparation firms.

· Understand,support, and live the firm’s vision, mission and values.


· Junior or Senior college student pursing a Bachelor’s inAccounting or Finance with 3.25 GPA

· Proficient Microsoft skills: Excel and Word

· Experiencewith financial industry software: Bloomberg or Morningstar is a plus

· A valid driver'slicense is required.
