Support all requirements for Warehouse Shipping area.
Receive parts into the shipping area
Store in proper locations
Pull corrugated material for Assembly builds
Manage returnable containers flow in and out (customer /supplier) of the plant
Package parts for Aftermarket shipments
Audit shipments for accuracy
Audit receipts for accuracy
Resolve shipment issues with other team members or teams
Perform all required Oracle transactions and monitors for system accuracy
Help maintain inventory accuracy within the area and plant
Support cycle counting activities
Ability to make shipments
Perform line-stocking in support of shop operations
Support and lead improvements to Materials Functional Excellence
Provide coverage for materials team members during vacations or absenteeism
Additional responsibilities as assigned by manager
Ability to lift finished turbochargers from containers weighing up to 67lbs from a pallet 6” off the floor, up to 24” from the side of the container.
Ability to lift and carry bins with individual parts from the loading dock to materials bins. Parts weigh up to 42lb and must be lifted from 6” pallets on the floor up to 61.”
Ability to operate all controls on the motorized equipment.
Ability to ascend and descend forklift steps.
Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours per shift.
Ability to kneel and squat to access boxes, check for impediments under the forklift, etc.
Visual and hearing requirements as per DOT regulations.
PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.)
Oracle skills a plus
Strong written and oral communication skills Well organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team-based work environment
A self-starter with strong problem solving skills
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
Forklift license required
Warehouse experience a plus
High volume environment/ manufacturing experience a must
High school diploma or equivalent is required
