Job Summary

The Site Finance Manager position will manage the overall direction, coordination and daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department which includes general accounting, financial reporting and budgeting, payables and receivables. This position requires a hands-on financial professional who is responsible to provide leadership and direction to the team as well as someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to assist in the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting department.

This position works independently with limited supervision and will demonstrate the ability to build cross-functional relationships to assist in the identification, interpretation and communication of financial trends; develop and implement processes to analyze and track performance against the strategy; and present value-added business analysis and meaningful financial/operational metrics to the site General Manager and Corporate Leadership Team that lead to insightful, accurate business decision making.

What you’ll do:
Act as Strategic Business Partner to the site General Manager and Corporate Leadership Team
Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers & associated operations in order to analyze trends on key business drivers and metrics
Work throughout the organization to report, monitor and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators
the compilation, review, and presentation of the company’s annual operating budget processes as well as quarterly reforecasts
Support monthly financial close. Analyze results against budget and prior year (variance analyses)
Collaborate with Site Operations in analyzing site financials and contribution margin and determine improvements and opportunities
Lead all financial functions and reporting activities to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), company policies, and internal controls while making recommendations for process improvements
Oversee month-end close process and perform thorough analysis of monthly financials to ensure accuracy and completeness
Analyze and track capital spending and validate capital expenditure productivity savings projects
Manage, lead, and develop the site financial team

Who you are:
Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interface with all levels within the organization regarding both financial and business issues as well as identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
Skilled in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives; with ability to problem solve and facilitate solutions with limited direction
A strong leader with 7+ years management experience; demonstrated team management and interpersonal skills including proven ability to coach and develop staff
Possess excellent analytical skills combined with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to interpret data, evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution and present complex information
Have in-depth knowledge of accounting, internal and external reporting, audit and a track record of maintaining rigorous controls, processes and systems
Possess strong computer skills including advanced Excel and ERP systems
Results-oriented. Unafraid to seize opportunities with a minimum of planning, accept challenges and drive others for results
Demonstrated ability to create effective processes and lay out work in an organized manner to efficiently establish a clear direction and accomplish goals
Able to establish a strong, collaborative, team environment. Create a climate of support and high morale with a focus of meeting the expectations of both internal and external customers
Able to travel as needed. (Approximately 10% travel required)

What you’ve done:
Obtained a BS in Finance and/or Accounting required, CPA preferred
Obtained your MBA (required)
Gained strong working knowledge of finance and accounting, and understanding of GAAP
Managed multiple projects simultaneously, including deadline-sensitive priorities as well as extensive ad-hoc requests with minimal instruction and oversight
Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information
Had 7-10 years related experience
