Responsibilities:

The Coastal/Waterfront Engineer will provide a range of services covering all aspects of marina design, coastal engineering, civil engineering and waterfront development including feasibility studies, permitting/regulatory process, master planning, coastal engineering, marina design, construction documents, and construction phase services. The Engineer will work closely with governmental agencies, regulatory agencies, local, and regional design and construction firms on projects primarily within the Great Lakes dynamic conditions. Day to day efforts may include, but are not limited to, design, CAD, calculations, reports, site evaluations, construction administration, and wave modeling.

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Formal education in fields of coastal and/or ocean engineering preferred.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marina/waterfront/coastal/civil engineering preferred
  • Great written and verbal communication skill
  • Desire for growth opportunities and increasing responsibility
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office preferred
