The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Parts, Material Process Chair (PMPCB) in El Segundo, CA.
Ensures Parts, Materials and Processes are qualified for the mission and meet contractual requirements.
Approves Requests for Additions (RFAs) to Boeing Approved Parts Lists (APLs).
Approves PMP Program Quality Requirements (PQR).
Ensures flow down and enforcement of PMP requirements to subcontractors.
Approves subcontractor Parts, Materials and Processes Lists.
Chairs the program(s) Parts, Materials and Process Control Board and serves as customer focal on PMP matters where applicable.
Reviews and dispositions program PMP nonconformance’s.
Reviews and approves the initiation and closure of Parts, Materials and Process purges.
Reviews and dispositions Government Industry Exchange Program (GIDEP) advisories and alerts.
Provides Quality oversight and/or support to site boards and Corrective Action Board (CABs) (i.e. Component & Material QRB, MRB, Destructive Physical Analyses (DPA) review, Parts Problem Resolution Team (PPRT)
Maintains enterprise PMP command media (i.e.PMP1000, PMP9002).
Reviews Conditional Emergency Release Transfers (CERT).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science or related discipline.
Experience in Parts, Material & Process or related field.
Desired Qualifications (Preferred Skills/Experience):
Experience as PMPCB Chair in an aerospace environment
Experience in Component Engineering
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
