The Industrial Process Engineer will add value to the organization by leading Continuous Improvement projects aimed at productivity or quality improvements while supporting several departments in day to day operations. The successful candidate will utilize a balance of analytical skills, ingenuity and tenacity to establish processes, eliminate variation and execute initiatives in a fast paced environment. This position reports to the PCNA Engineering and Facilities Manager.

Supports production processes in day to day activity, identifying and eliminating waste
Executes Continuous Improvement projects to reduce manufacturing costs and increase product and process quality
Identifies & adopts best practices across all PCNA sites
Designs, manufactures, improves and maintains fixtures for supported production departments
Develops and successfully launches new decorating methods in order to maintain PCNA’s position as a leader in the industry
Works with the training department to develop clear and concise work instructions and procedures
Executes capital projects on time and on budget, with clear specifications and acceptance criteria
Actively participates in cross-functional quality improvement programs
Investigates and recommends solutions for production and product related quality, manufacturing or process issues
Ensures that no hazards exist in the workplace
Performs other duties as assigned

BS in Mechanical Engineering
Zero to two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with AutoCad, SolidWorks and Additive Manufacturing
Ability to analyze data to identify and control process variables
Clear understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean methodologies in a Manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on setup reduction techniques
Excellent communication skills, utilized inside and outside the company
Results oriented individual with a demonstrated track record of success and driving operational process improvement initiatives in high-growth manufacturing environment
Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish project goals
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under pressure in a timely fashion
Collaborative mindset who thrives in a team oriented matrix organization
Must be able to work independently and manage time efficiently
Ability to travel 10% between our North American facilities
Ability to communicate in Spanish & English is required

Improve productivity and reduce quality defects
Project task compliance to plan.
Delivery of project updates to management team on a scheduled basis
Execute capital budget plan and implement new assets in production
