Job Title: Manager, Digital Marketing
Location: Charlotte, NC
Reports to: Director, Strategic Marketing & Communications
The Manager of Digital Marketing drives development, assimilation and delivery of digital media services to serve EPRI’s strategic marketing and communications needs. This manager works across marketing and communications functions and digital channels. They will help deliver products and content throughout the digital ecosystem including web, social and mobile. They will support marketing campaign execution and member engagement in the company to ensure that EPRI target audiences effectively receive services and communications from EPRI an efficient manner. The position is expected to support EPRI accomplish strategic marketing objectives through the most effective and efficient digital mediums.
Lead and support all digital elements of key strategic marketing and communications initiatives.
Support and implement successful B2B and B2E EPRI digital based products and services;
Ensure high quality digital communications: appearance, ease of use; measurability for results.
Understand the migration of corporate communications vehicles to the digital media and how to effectively move communications products and services to advanced digital media.
Provide pragmatic input to EPRI’ overall digital business systems and products; own the translation of strategies into effective business solutions in areas that involve strategic marketing and communications.
Perform strategic business assessments and capture/interpret/validate the voice of the customer to identify needs that can form the basis of digital strategies and digital projects.
Support the user experience, content fit/vitality, management and implementation of EPRI’s digital platforms (e.g. corporate website, EPRI.com; EPRI’s customer portal, interactive online communities; and public-facing micro-sites)
Manage implementation of EPRI’s social media outreach (web production and delivery program functions); engage in all EPRI digital media on a regular and pragmatic basis: posting, maintaining content, etc.
Find and be able to help EPRI employ best practices in digital content implementation and digital communications.
Provide direction for EPRI’s web production team, assuring quality output.
Provide managerial leadership and hands-on skills to implement digital plans.
Education and Experience:
BA/BS or equivalent experience.
6+ years minimum proven success developing and implementing complex digital strategies
Knowledge across all digital channels and platforms (web, mobile, social, search/SEO, media, e-commerce, UI/UX) and business areas (marketing, communications, business development, commercialization, sales support, operations) with strength in execution.
Direct involvement designing user experience and engaging customers through omni-channel marketing campaigns.
Ability to translate stakeholder needs into digital solutions; gets to thoe goals through individual action and managing others.
Exceptional ability to collaborate, build and leverage relationships across all parts of the organization.
Superior communication skills and ability to easily work with others; superior listening skills.
Solid grasp of various business disciplines (marketing, communications, business development, commercialization, sales support, operations) and digital disciplines (web, mobile, social, search, media, e-commerce, UI/UX, digital technologies and platforms).
Understands the importance of digital company growth, focusing on customer acquisition, engagement and retention
Ability to assess business risks and opportunities, and apply creative problem-solving skills
