We are currently searching for an Office Associate to help us deliver excellent customer service at our self-storage facility.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
The Morningstar Office Associate is responsible for presenting a professional and upbeat image to our current and future customers. This position works with the Storage Property Manager and oversees all property sales and administrative functions in the absence of the manager. The Office Associate is often the sole contact for inquiries and current customers. This position must be available to work when the property is busiest, including weekends. (There are no late nights required). Other duties include:
The ability to sell in person and over-the-phone by informing the potential customer of Morningstar’s features and benefits.
Provide outstanding customer service by assessing and resolving customer questions and problems.
Maintain required tenant records in a neat and orderly manner as directed by management.
Assist the team in maintaining the property to our high standards.
General management of the office including opening and closing the office on time each day, keeping and balancing cash, making daily bank deposits and preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by management.
High school diploma/GED required current driver’s license and proof of insurance. This is a part time position and the applicant must be able to work a flexible schedule during office hours approximately 9am – 6pm during the weekdays and 9am to 5pm Saturday and some Sunday hours. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings. Proficiency in basic computer operations. Managing email accounts, data input, saving and printing files. Language skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, reach, and climb. Vision and hearing necessary.
Part time position - up to 25 hours per week
