Woodlands Academy is seeking a Chief Finance and Resource Officer. The Chief Finance and Resource Officer reports to and works closely with the Head of School, is a member of the Leadership Team, and serves as administrative liaison to several committees of the Board of Trustees. The Chief Finance and Resource Officer is responsible for all financial aspects of the school, oversight of the physical plant and operations, and thoughtful and strategic leadership in support of the mission of the school. The Chief Finance and Resource Officer should possess the ability to balance attention to detail with a view of the larger picture, patience, a sense of humor, creative problem solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, and a commitment and desire to serve in a Sacred Heart school.

Manage and supervise Business Office operations and personnel
Actively participate in Business Office operations including accounting, audit, payroll, risk management, benefits, and investments
Formulate and manage the school operating budget
Oversee human resources, physical plant, food service, technology, security, and transportation
Serve as a member of the Financial Aid Committee
Prepare and maintain statistical, financial, endowment, and investment reports
Keep abreast of information relative to legal, regulatory, and personnel issues, as well as best practices as they apply to schools
Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, supporting the goals of the Head of School, Leadership Team, and Board of Trustees, and other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications:
A Master's Degree and CPA
Minimum 10 years' experience working in finance
Technology skills including advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Senior Systems or Blackbaud a bonus
Ability and desire to support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools
Ability to manage a variety of projects with minimal supervision
High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information
Available to work nights, weekends and extended days as needed
