Part of the CMO organization, the mission of the Global Audience and Digital Marketing team is two-fold:

Deliver SAP’s brand narrative to defined audiences through integrated demand programs.
Provide our prospects and customers a more consistent and pioneering digital experience.
As we drive this mission, we are seeking an innovative and collaborative leader who will join our leadership team to develop and drive a marketing shared services function across our team and into Regionally aligned field marketing teams. In this role, you will lead a team dedicated to building and orchestrating marketing programs for Account-Based Marketing, SAP’s biggest and highest priority customers though our Global Strategic Customer Program, Sales Incentives and Promotions. Additionally, the team will drive our compete strategy for priority Lines of Business as well as the technology stack to develop and scale our marketing programs

The right candidate will have a proven record of successfully driving strategic cross functional marketing initiatives, can demonstrate experience in managing and communicating with senior executives, working with sales, services, product marketing, and regional field marketing teams and stakeholders as well as building global integrated marketing programs.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Stakeholder Management & Awareness
Manage executive stakeholder relationships across marketing, sales and services at global, and regional levels
Enable our campaign teams to leverage ABM, Incentives and technology across their efforts.
Drive awareness of the Shared Services offering with our internal marketing and sales stakeholders
Drive consistent communication and alignment with regional field marketing teams
Own planning process for the shared services functions on the team
Marketing Programs Management
Guide and support the development of stand alone or LoB focused ABM/Strategic Customer/Sales Incentives programs in close collaboration with Regional marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing, to generate demand
Identify KPIs that the team will measure, track and report on to the larger team and their stakeholders
Drive messaging and messaging frameworks for the team’s marketing programs geared towards demand generation and alignment with the SAP Brand narrative
Build specialized assets aligned to LoB marketing strategy and drive joint GTM programs
Pro-actively recommend and build assets, incentives and compete positioning to scale and accelerate LoB programs impact
Serve as point of contact for the SAP Compete team and drive compete enablement and strategy
Marketing and Campaign Technology
Assess and recommend internal or external technology and tools to support campaigns and asset distribution and tracking internally and externally
Serve as point of contact for the Marketing Technology team, drive system requirements and enablement for the team
Measure effectiveness, test and optimize the campaign assets and tools used by the team
Employee Engagement
Manage a team of seasoned marketing professionals
Grow and retain talent, enable and develop individual contributors
Drive high employee engagement and management KPIs
Critical Performance Competencies
Strong relationship and consensus building skill – both in developing relationships with field Marketing and Sales teams, other cross-functional constituents as well as critical third-party resources when necessary.
Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
Exceptional analytic, budget and forecasting skills and experience making in-source vs. outsource decisions.
High level of business, executive functioning, marketing acumen, and decision-making expertise.
Flexible and adept at navigating ambiguity and managing multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities.
Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational dynamics.
Natural curiosity, and excitement to stay abreast with the latest marketing technology trends and best practices.
Agile thinker. Able to think outside of the box - or remove the box - and pursue continual process improvement.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
5-7+ years’ experience working in Marketing leadership positions
Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
Knowledge of B2B customer lifecycle from awareness to advocacy
International experience, understands regional and country-level cultures, buying behaviors, maturity levels and understands the unique localization needs
Have championed or worked in a Global function, Center of Excellence or Shared Services Operating Models.
