Truck Driver
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over short and long distances while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
Duties:
- Operate commercial vehicles such as tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbed trucks
- Safely transport materials to and from specified locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading cargo when necessary
- Drive manual transmission vehicles with skill and precision
- Ensure proper handling of refrigerated trailers when transporting perishable goods
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in route driving and delivery services
- Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbed trucks
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in handling manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations is a plus
