  • Collaborate with SEO manager on how to improve overall search traffic with the creation of unique, customer-relevant, and engaging content
  • Perform SEO tasks such as keyword & content topic research for content optimization; proactively identify new areas of opportunity based on organic search traffic trends and work with manager to prioritize
  • Develop and use reports on keywords performance and content performance to understand high and low performers and develop plan of action to prioritize content based on biggest impact to business. As such, the candidate will possess a working knowledge of commonly used analytical tools (Google AdWords, Google Analytics, etc)
  • Contribute ideas based on industry trends for improvements that include, but aren't limited to outsourcing opportunities, new standard procedures, application improvements and cross-departmental improvements
  • Collaborate with the merchandising team for help with identifying trends and category focuses; work cross-functionally with other marketing channels (such as Social and Email) to promote content pieces and drive additional traffic
  • Have a deep knowledge of ecommerce and SEO/Content Marketing best practices including competitive strategies, marketing, usability testing, and industry trends
  • Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests. Perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed
  • Follow legal policies as directed

Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years of writing experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of successfully improving SEO performance
  • Working knowledge of SEO tools
  • Team player and positive attitude a must
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Flexible
  • Knowledge of home decor trends a plus
Education

Bachelor's degree required; focus in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or English preferred.
