Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods over short or long distances, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Duties
- Load and unload cargo
- Operate manual transmission vehicles
- Drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, tankers, and delivery trucks
- Follow planned routes and schedules for timely deliveries
- Handle commercial driving tasks efficiently
- Transport freight in a safe and secure manner
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in route driving is required
- Proficiency in operating different types of trucks and vehicles
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in transportation
- Ability to handle various types of cargo including hazardous materials
- Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
